Description

This skin is for the Manic emulator app only.
  • Only supports edgetoedge iPhones (no SE support)
  • Includes pressable buttons (a Manic feature)!

A 3DS skin with four different styles to choose from: (Normal, Swap (swaps the joystick and dpad), Centered (centers the controls with screens on top and bottom), and FS (puts controls on bottom and maximizes screens). The "Modern" titled skins are the black versions. These were made for use in the Manic emulator. If the quickSave and quickLoad buttons don't work, update the Manic app.

NEW 8/2/25: There are now three more colors for each skin! All colors are based on the original 3DS. These colors are Aqua Blue, Flame Red, and Midnight Purple. There is also a new landscape skin included with each skin. It maximizes the top screen size while keeping things comfortable. Hope you enjoy!

  • Added more detail to all skins
    • If you want to use the older versions, download the v2.1 Old Modern Skins.zip at the bottom of the download page.
  • Moved quicksave/load to top of all FS and Centered skins to avoid accidental presses
  • Moved quicksave/load to top left of all landscape skins to avoid accidental presses
  • Fixed top screen aspect ratio being 16:10 instead of 5:3 across all skins
  • Fixed bottom screen being slightly stretched on ModernHybrid
  • Fixed slight centering issue on button hitboxes on the swap skins

2.1:

  • Added a new color: Pure White!
  • Added a new black skin called ModernHybrid. It combines the layout of ModernBlack with a fullscreen portrait layout.
  • Fixed the mappingSize not matching the image resolution for all skins. This should make the skin fit better for all iPhones.
  • Added extendedEdges to improve button hitboxes on all skins.
