Hi there, naiem here. These are my OLED-optimized iPhone Duo Nintendo DS skins for the Delta emulator on iOS, styled after iOS 27 Liquid Glass. #000000 backgrounds leave unused pixels off for lower power draw and less glare, with colorways matched to iPhone Duo finishes. The goal is less strain on your eyes, a subtle nod to iOS design elements, and a clean focus on the games you play at hand. These are now available for Manic Emu as well in the secondary package.
When the Duo is open in portrait, the top screen fills the whole top half, about 3.6x bigger than a typical DS layout. It stops just short of the fold, so nothing sits across the hinge. The touch screen and every control are on the bottom half, just like a real DS.
The controls are Liquid Glass lenses: a deep graphite body, a thick edge that catches the light, and light refractions tailored to each colorway. Press a button and the lens lifts, its edge brightens, and it lights softly from within in its own color.
Colorways:
- Earth (naiem’s favorite): olive, khaki and mustard, with amber-gold to olive-lime refractions
- Night Sky: blue-gray and blue titanium, with violet to icy cyan refractions
- Star White: warm white, silver and ivory, with champagne to pearl lavender refractions
Standard or XL: both have the big top screen. Standard keeps the touch screen at 320x240 with roomy controls around it. XL makes the touch screen bigger too (448x336), with the controls tucked underneath. Install one or both.
Every skin covers all the Duo layouts:
- unfolded portrait and landscape
- closed portrait and landscape on the outer display
- Split View
- a pure black cover with a small glass emblem
Delta switches between them automatically as you open, fold and turn the Duo. Manic is now available too in portrait and landscape layouts.
Pressed-state art shows in Delta builds that support it. On builds that don’t, the skins work normally and look the same at rest.
