1-6 button + twin stick skins with 4 button 3d fighter fix

(0)

Description

This skin is for the Manic emulator app only.

this is the mega collection of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 button and twin sticks lay out with a fix for the 4 button 3d fighters like Tekken 3 and rival schools. Variety of colors, and a layout for every game no matter the number of buttons, no more having extra buttons getting in the way, or having too little buttons. With this collection all your arcade button troubles will go away.

PS. If you have a iphone (14 pro+)  with a dynamic island (the pill notch) use the dynamic set its got more space around the edge to factor in the lower notch. (i havent tested on a pill iphone i have a xr with the notch at the top. but i did alot of research into the layouts of iphones and pixel placement around the island. so hopefully i fixed the button placement problem the orginal set has for new phones. (if your using a phone with the top notch use the original for most picture space.

4 button decision Classic or Tekken-Rival Fix?

Both are 4-button layouts. They look the same and can be installed side by side.

- **Classic**: the bottom-left button is Button 2 only. Use this for most 4-button games.
- **Tekken-Rival Fix**: the bottom-left button sends Button 2 **and** Buttons 5 and 6 together. Some fighting games (Rival Schools wants Button 5, Tekken wants Button 6) need those extra buttons, and this gives them to you without a 6-button layout.

## Button mapping

Manic EMU's arcade core numbers the buttons like this:

| Skin input | Arcade button |
|---|---|
| `b` | Button 1 |
| `a` | Button 2 |
| `y` | Button 3 |
| `x` | Button 4 |
| `l1` | Button 5 |
| `r1` | Button 6 |

A game that needs Buttons 1 to N needs every number from 1 to N present on the skin, which is why 1-Button uses `b` and 3-Button uses `a`, `b` and `y`.
Ive tested the Tekken fix on regular fighters and other games and I've had no problems, but I can't rule out button conflict in some game so there's 2 sets.

Classic 4 button = dosent work on Tekken 3 or rival but works with all the others I've tried.
tekken fix 4 button = works with games I've tried and Tekken 3 and rival schools. but can't rule out what I haven't tried so, if the game registers the extra inputs use classic.

I’d like to add that it isn’t ai slop if that’s what anyone thinks and skips it because of that thought. I had to have a ai help with the json files and with making the pngs because I didn’t want to personally do that because I don’t know a thing about coding and I didn’t want to have to hand make a bunch of png pictures myself because that’s a lot of work and I don’t got that kind of free time to make that many files, but I wanted people to have a choice in colors and button schemes. If I could spend the amount of time it would take to do every json file I would but that’d be crazy for one person. But I personally decided what the layouts looked like, the color schemes to go with, the way the buttons looked, all the testing and tweaking, figuring out how to fix some of the mapping issues like the Tekken 3 and rival schools using separate inputs that a 2d fighter on 4 button doesn’t use. I spent Atleast 40 hours of my time fixing, deciding the looks, tweaking and testing stuff the ai couldn’t or didn’t understand to do because it doesn’t got thumbs to factor into how everything is set up and the only thing it could see was just the png and json not how it worked or looked in the app. I will agree ai helped with the boring stuff like writing the finished json file batches after I tweaked each button setup by hand and making the actual png to use for each color scheme I choose and tweaked to my liking but other than that I personally put in the time to make it look and act the way it is and tested the skins personally. I’m sorry if anyone’s upset that I used ai to assist me with the difficult and hard for a single person stuff like all the json files and making 100s of png files but that’s it everything else is 100% genuine human thought and love and effort put into it. I just want to help the community have more options when it comes to gaming comfort
