Black DS (iPhone Duo) is a dark, minimal Nintendo DS skin for Delta, made specifically for the iPhone Duo. It gives every mode the same matte-black look, with raised dark-gray buttons and soft gray labels, so the game screens stay the brightest thing on the display. It covers portrait, landscape, and Split View, where the top screen sits in the app window and the bottom screen is built into a full-width controller at exactly 4× DS resolution. I use the Backbone controller to play GBA games daily, and having to press the menu button to do simple tasks such as quick-saving and quick-loading is simply just annoying. That's why I created this skin. It gives you three simple on-screen buttons: Quick-Save, Quick-Load, and a Fast Forward toggle, all while keeping the 3:2 fullscreen aspect ratio and keeping the buttons off to the sides, giving you quick access to these features while keeping your gameplay fluid. Delta hides the on-screen skin when a controller connects, which leaves no way to reach Delta's own pause menu (save states, cheats, quit) — and many controllers have no spare button to map it to, since iOS reserves the Xbox/PlayStation logo buttons. I created this AMOLED version inspired by the Analogue Pocket, based on the original version posted by Trufflegg a few years ago. I kept only the Quick Save function on the first button after the 'Analogue Pocket' text to prevent accidental misclicks. I expanded the screen to make it more comfortable for games that usually appear too small in portrait mode. I realize I’ve sacrificed the original Game Boy Advance aspect ratio slightly, but as mentioned, the goal was to improve playability on smaller screens and for games that are harder to see. [Work in progress] - I'm dedicated to fully complete this skin so it's usable on all devices. There are currently no dedicated skins for J2ME emulation on Deltastyles. I have decided to change that. The default Manic ones are not very comfortable to use. One has an odd button layout and the other one has a Nokia background which is very distracting. Mine is very minimal and has beefy buttons. It only contains the number pad, left and right buttons, Manic menu button and a big content window. Currently only the edge to edge portrait layout is supported.
